First level: the sketch Here are some examples of unframed quick sketches. OK, maybe not so quick - some of them required from 30 to 45 minutes of work. As I was saying, they are very expressive but seem... somehow unfinished (click on the photos for close-ups). To make them I use pencils, charcoal and/or sanguine. Most of the times the paper is a white Fabriano with soft texture. This is the portrait you get when attending one of my live performances - some over a thousand persons from all over the world did.
