Second level: the pastel

These are examples of more elaborated work. It takes me 1 to 3 hours to complete a portrait. The technique is a classic: dry pastels/charcoal on Ingres medium texture paper.

The usual size is around 12"x17" (30x43 cm) but custom sizes are always available.

This style, although graphical by excellence can easily compete with oils, requires simple framing (as suggested in the photos) and is far more affordable.
