ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vasile Marius Lupu (born 1966) - Romanian artist, living and working at present in Italy, Europe.

Background: The "George Enescu" University of Arts - Jassy, Romania (2004); The Erasmus European Grant of Study - Milan, Italy (2003)

Working as a professional portrait artist since 1997. His drawings and paintings have been commissioned by over 1000 clients from Europe, USA, Canada, Russia, South America, Arabian Countries, Turkey, India, Japan, Israel.

He used to be a "street artist" himself - remembering glorious days in Rome, Milan or the Italian Riviera - and he still is, from time to time performing live portrait sessions in Europe.

His fields of experience and expertise areas aren't limited to portraiture. They range from graphic arts and painting to advertising, sustainable design and architecture.
